Ingredients for pizza base

1 cup ground almonds
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp olive oil
2 large eggs

Mix all the ingredients together to make a smooth paste, spread thinly and evenly onto a non-stick baking tray.  Put into a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 mins.

Whilst the base is cooking soften 1 tomato, 1/2 red pepper, 1 small onion, 3 cloves garlic in a saucepan.  Blend with a hand blender until smooth.

Slice mozzarella and any other toppings.
I like parma ham, black olives, then once cooked add lightly toasted pine nuts, Saint Agur and rocket.

Or chorizo, courgette, peppers, mushrooms.
