
Ideal when you need a quick bread fix.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup flaxseed
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
0.5oz graded cheddar
Salt/pepper/dried basil or any other herbs you prefer – season to your taste
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 large egg
Method:
Using a small non stick milk pan on a medium heat mix all the ingredients together with a fork and ensure it is covering the base of the pan evenly.
Leave to heat for a few mins until it is free to turn.
Heat until it feels firm to the touch and cooked through.
Slice and add filling of your choice. Could also be used for base to eggs/bacon or as a side toast to your cooked breakfast.
For the flax bread we have to use flax seed flour ?
Hi Bhavna, I use Linwwoods Ground Flaxseed, you can use other brands but this consistency works well.
